Five Cities, One Celebration: Hannover Capital Powers the Freedom 250 Expo Across Uzbekistan

From Samarkand and Tashkent to Bukhara and Nukus, Hannover Capital was proud to support the Freedom 250 celebrations — a nationwide initiative bringing communities across Uzbekistan together to celebrate 250 years of American independence and the enduring relationship between the United States and Uzbekistan.
Throughout 2026, the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan brought the Freedom 250 initiative to cities across the country, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States and 34 years of diplomatic relations between the United States and Uzbekistan.
More than a commemoration, Freedom 250 served as a platform for connection. The roadshow brought together students, entrepreneurs, professionals, educators, artists and local communities through interactive exhibitions, technology and innovation showcases, U.S. education opportunities, expert discussions, cultural programming and live performances.
For Hannover Capital, supporting Freedom 250 represented an opportunity to contribute to an initiative closely aligned with the firm's international outlook: building stronger connections between markets, institutions, businesses and people.
Supporting a Nationwide Celebration
As a key sponsor of the Freedom 250 events, Hannover Capital supported major programs and concerts across Samarkand, Tashkent, Bukhara, and Nukus.
In Samarkand, Freedom 250 combined the wider Expo program with an evening celebration at the Eternal City, featuring live music, international performers and a fireworks display.
The journey continued through Tashkent before reaching Bukhara, where visitors explored interactive exhibits, learned about opportunities to study in the United States, connected with American and Uzbek experts and attended a public concert featuring international and local performers.
The nationwide journey culminated in Nukus, where the final Freedom 250 Expo and concert welcomed more than 21,400 participants — a powerful conclusion to the roadshow and a reflection of the initiative's ability to engage communities across Uzbekistan.
Across these milestones, Hannover Capital played an active supporting role in helping bring the celebrations to life and ensuring their successful delivery.
Building Bridges Beyond Business
For Hannover Capital, Freedom 250 went beyond traditional sponsorship.
As an international business advisory firm working across markets, institutions and cross-border partnerships, Hannover Capital sees value in initiatives that strengthen dialogue, create new relationships and opportunities as well as deepen Uzbekistan's engagement with the international community.
The Freedom 250 Roadshow demonstrated how these connections can be strengthened not only through business and diplomacy, but also through education, technology, culture and direct people-to-people engagement.
Working alongside the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan, Hannover Capital contributed to a nationwide initiative that reached audiences well beyond the capital and helped extend the celebration across the country.
A Milestone in U.S. – Uzbekistan Relations
Freedom 250 took place during an important period in U.S.–Uzbekistan relations.
While commemorating 250 years since American independence, the program also highlighted more than three decades of diplomatic relations and the growing connections between the two countries across business, education, technology, culture and international cooperation.
From Uzbekistan's historic cities to the final celebration in Nukus, the roadshow created a shared space for communities to experience American culture and innovation while celebrating the relationships connecting the two countries.
For Hannover Capital, contributing to that journey reflected the firm's broader commitment to international partnership and long-term engagement.
Looking Forward
The conclusion of the Freedom 250 Roadshow in Nukus marked the end of an important series of events, but the relationships created through initiatives such as these extend far beyond a single celebration.
Hannover Capital remains committed to supporting international engagement, facilitating connections between Uzbekistan and global partners and contributing to initiatives that create lasting economic, institutional and people-to-people ties.
We are proud to have supported the Freedom 250 journey across Uzbekistan and to have played a part in a celebration of friendship, cooperation and a shared future.
